Sathish Gopalakrishnan is an Assistant Professor in the University of British Columbia‘s Electrical & Computer Engineering Department. He is also affiliated to the Institute for Computing, Information, and Cognitive Systems. He obtained a PhD in Computer Science and an MS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. At UIUC, he worked in the Real-Time Systems Lab with Professors Marco Caccamo and Lui Sha. He worked briefly in the Computer Science Laboratory at SRI International, at Hewlett-Packard Labs, and at the Campus Information Technologies and Educational Services in UIUC (formerly CCSO: Computing and Communications Services Office). He is originally from Chennai (Madras), India.
